Harold Henao is a singer-songwriter who was born in Cali (Colombia), and got his bachelor’s degree in music from Universidad del Valle (Cali) and then earned his Master of Music degree from Temple University (Philadelphia, PA). Harold Henao combines his love for music teaching with his passionate creative work as a songwriter and composer. The recurrent themes in his songs are the social, permaculture, spirituality and Love. The musical style of his recently released album “la montaña nos llama” (the mountain call us) is a fusion of rock with folk inspired elements that add richness and give a distinctive sound to his music. His songs aspire to a better world where all of us can live in peaceful harmony, sharing, helping each other, taking care of our Mother Earth and its resources ( recycling, reusing, reducing excessive consumerism). Perhaps we will be able to live more moments of real consciousness and presence.
